Well... Greg Rucka's run on the main feature of Detective Comics is ending over the next few months, once The Return of Bruce Wayne miniseries finishes and brings Bruce back to the main feature.
This will also end the Detective Comics: Batwoman arc, though DC's already announced that, once Bruce is back, they'll be starting a new Batwoman series.
Batwoman was quite controversial when she was introduced, but her Detective run has apparently sold very well... well enough that DC is continuing to work on making her their first new top-tier character in a very, very long time.
So... I guess, what do people think?

i don't know what intelligent blather i can offer, so i hope that was neither a prerequisite nor a deep-seeded desire but i basically know of batwoman through 52? i really enjoyed it, though honestly my knowledge comes predominantly from the graphic audio rather than most of the print issues - but i loved it - the story, listening to the characters interact, how lesser knowns got their day in the sun i'm a huge question fan, i completely abhor that they killed him off and was disinclined to give montoya the time of day but she grew on me, i think she started to become more worthy of the mantle, i could tell vic was proud - so she is growing on me but to me there really is only one quest i thought batwoman was a very interesting character and i am intrigued that she got her own series, i wasn't aware - i, too, thought black adam was great, one of my fave villains - i'm an isis fan, i'm not sure how much i loved this interpretation/version of her, but i've seen worse and i did enjoy their whole family dynamic and their focus i was unaware that oracle was a "he" (as i have now gathered from continuing posties) - that was why i referred to her as a "she", mea culpa - i always thought oracle was barbara gordon - perhaps that is why his insignia was a green "O", maybe that had something to do with it, but if there have been recent changes, i am unaware (unless this has something to do with it being earth 7 or 8, meaning we are in a diff universe or something?)

Nah, Oracle's still Barbara Gordon. Just... nobody who's not been affiliated with one of the major teams would know that. Since Booster has, he knows, as does Catwoman from her affiliation with the Batman family.
But Oracle keeps her identity deeply under wraps, hence even Azure Torch's ring not knowing her gender.
